How to Split Screen Samsung Galaxy M12 for All Apps

Want to run two apps simultaneously? It’s easy, you can utilize the split screen feature on the Samsung M12. Here we will share some ways you can use.

This smartphone made by Samsung is equipped with a large 6.5-inch screen with HD Plus resolution and already carries 90 Hz refresh rate technology. With a screen size of this size, the activities we do through the Galaxy M12 will feel relieved.

How to Enable Split Screen on Samsung M12

The Split Screen feature is commonly known as Multi Windows. All Samsung phones that have used One UI 3 and above have this feature.

Through Recent Apps

This method is generally available on every Android device that supports split screen. You can easily open two applications on the smartphone screen. Check out the steps.

Step 1: Please enter the home screen, then tap the Menu button on the left bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Once recent apps is open, select the first app you want to set in split screen. Then click the app icon at the top and tap Open in Split screen view.

Step 3: Now that the screen is split into two parts, you select the second app to occupy the bottom space. After successfully enabling Split screen, you can resize it by sliding the line in the center to zoom in or out.

Via Edge Panel

If you don’t like the above method, you can also place apps on the split screen using Edge Panel. Before doing so you need to activate the Edge Panel in Settings >> Screen >> Edge Panel.

Once done, feel free to do a split screen using Recent Apps first as I showed above.

Once the first app is open, launch the Edge Panel and drag the app you want to place on the second (bottom) screen.

Pop UP View

Alternatively, you can utilize the Pop up view feature which is almost the same as the Split screen feature. You can place floating apps on the screen.

  1. First tap the Recent Apps button.
  2. After that tap the application icon at the top.
  3. Select Open in Pop Up view.
  4. Drag the application you want to place on the screen.

Multi Window For All Apps

As we know, not all applications support split screen. If you find an application installed on Samsung M12 but does not support split screen, follow these tips.

Go to Settings> Advanced features> Labs> enable Multi window for all apps.

If it is active, now try to test whether apps that are not supported can be split screen? If it doesn’t work, try again activating the Enable Force activities to be resizable option in Developer Options.
