How To Reset Samsung Grand Prime Plus to Factory Settings

  • Select the ˊErase Deviceˋ option from below the device information.
  • Choose the ˊEraseˋ button on the popup.
  • Enter your Samsung Account password to confirm and send the task to your phone.

Factory reset Samsung Grand Prime Plus via Settings

Android Marshmallow

  • Tap ‘Appsʼ on the Home screen.
  • In the Apps screen tap “Settings”.
  • In the Settings screen, tap ‘Back Up and Resetʼ.
  • In the Backup and Reset screen, tap ˊFactory Data Resetˋ.
  • In the Factory Data Reset screen, tap ‘Reset Deviceʼ.
  • Tap ‘Delete Allʼ.

  • Swipe up or down to view the ‘Appsʼ.
  • Touch “Settings”.
  • Scroll to and touch ˊGeneral managementˋ.
  • Touch ‘Resetʼ.
  • Touch ˊFactory data resetˋ.
  • Read the warning, then scroll to and touch ˊRESETˋ.
  • If you’re prompted for screen lock credentials, enter your PIN/password/pattern and touch “NEXT”.
  • Touch ‘DELETE ALLʼ.
  • The Samsung Grand Prime Plus will reset and reboot.

Hard reset Samsung Grand Prime Plus

  1. Ensure that the Samsung Grand Prime Plus is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
  4. Installing system update will show for about 30 – 60 seconds, then No command before showing the Android system recovery menu options.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe data / factory reset.
  6. Press Power button to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight YES and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the Factory Reset is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
