  2. Framaroot doesn’t work on S5000. Neither for me, nor for a friend with the same tablet. I guess all we could do is wait for another update.

  3. please make a guide for install cwm in this tablet!

  4. Just the same for me:
Note of the exploits in framaroot currently work for the S5000, tested yesterday

  5. Unfortunately, neither Boromir nor Faramir work on Lenovo S5000 (failed to root the device, error #9). Tested today, with apk version 1.8.1.

  6. New version (apk 1.9.0) successfully rooted my Lenovo S5000-F (at least it says so, I haven’t rebooted yet). The new exploit is called Barahir. Word of advice: if you want to root the tablet, skip the firmware update, so that the exploit has a chance to work…

    • to: GS, can i root my s5000 after i done the firmware update using that 1.9.0 version? because i dont know t at all about rooting this device before …

    • I have a Lenovo S5000-F too, and am thinking of rooting it, in order to be able to lower the brightness of the backlights.

Can you confirm that Framaroot successfully rooted your Lenovo S5000-F AFTER you rebooted the machine?

When I got my my Lenovo S5000-F a couple of weeks ago, I am pretty sure that it updated the operating system automatically, or that I updated it myself, from the Settings menu. If I DID update the OS, will Framaroot still root the machine successfully?

  7. How can we flash a recovery on the s5000?

  8. How should I root lenovo A5000-e

  9. i need custom rom for lenovo s5000

  10. Lenovo S5000 -H (3G) loses root on OTA update S5000_A422_004_089_140324_WW_SMS but Barahir exploit again roots this update

  11. used vroot from chinese website (updated the library) and then install superuser, change the launcher and works flawless

  12. Can i uninstall framaroot after the root?

  13. It says failed to root try another exploit

  14. Hey, just wanna ask something. I already done what you wrote and downloaded the apps. Then I downloaded an app for reboot. Then my phone went off and restart. But I still can’t find the super user icon like you said.
