How to Root LG K5 with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop via Kingroot [Tutorial]

Users who are interested in rooting their LG K5 model can unlock it using Kingroot application tool.   1. Download KingRoot 4.9.6
  2. Browse the app using a file manager.
  3. Install the app normally by just tap on the app.
  4. After the installation completed, run the King Root application normally.
  5. Once run the tool, it will take a few seconds to identify your device. At this time enable the wifi or data connection to connect the app to the development server.
  6. To start the rooting process tap on the app’s main screen “Start to root” button.
  7. Next, you can see the progress bar with the completed percentage.
  8. Congratulations! You have successfully rooted your LG K5.

You can confirm the root status of the phone through Root Checker app. Open the app, tap on Verify Root Status to check the root access. Grant permission when a pop-up shows up.

    • same… tried 500 apps and methods but I still can’t do it.
      Kingo app kingroot and all other apps available to root your device.
      You can’t even unlock bootloader due to shit support for this phone,normally KINGROOT would be able to root it if there was unlocked bootloader, it still isn’t supported on official LG even though when they launched this phone it had the option of OEM unlocking. I tried to follow everything it said in the guide but it simply lacks commands to do so. SHIT LG SUPPORT. I tried with psneuter, manually rooting, using linux to push files to the system, NOTHING WORKS.
